Easier said than done. They will have to create cap space to acquire much of anything. And if they are going for a rental type, what assets are they giving up, and how much of a difference is that player likely to make?

*If* anything happens I think it's likely Ghost is the one getting dealt. He's got some value and it frees up cap space for them to do something. I just don't see how anything else could be moved at the deadline to create much cap space...

I still think it's doubtful they get anything done in season. The biggest thing they can do is keep guys healthy and hope Patrick makes it back on the ice this season.

I think Voracek is always trying to be to cute with the puck. Great skater but Jesus on a bike with the cute crap. I think he is gone this summer.

I don't dislike G but I question his leadership and his applicability to push the right players at the right time.

Bill - You are the only person I can listen to re: Flyers. Help me understand what’s happening with G? I mean the guy can’t even skate anymore. And that first play off the draw last night, you can’t be serious. He has been, by far, the biggest disappointment this year. I think he would be a healthy scratch if not for wearing the C, that’s how bad he has been.

Giroux should play 3Q instead of Hyes, like yesterday. If he doesn't turn it around. I would strongly consider buy out in summer. He is worse this season than Lecavalier and Simmonds in their last seasons with Flyers combined.

With Giroux and Voracek from this season so far, we should not even try to compete for play off. Period!

No offense but you're greatly embarrassing yourself here.

The only major move I'd make before the TDL is to fire Michel Therrien. It's inexcusable for our powerplay to be this bad with the players that we have. Some of the powerplays last night were some of the worst powerplays I have seen.

I completely agree that I have not been impressed with the PP alignment and strategy this season under Therrien. Let's be honest though, that performance on the PP and overall last night, is not on any of the coaches.

It's possible to get two points when that happens?

So here we are on February 7, the Flyers are in 6th place in the division, and two of their young players may never play again. No one would have signed on for this back in the summer.

Giroux is not getting traded. He has a NMC and has said multiple times he would not waive it.

Embarrassing loss and the fact that I am saying it should show how bad it was.

Myers was awful, coincidentally after someone was praising him for his play of late

Ghost was his same self. Bobbling pucks, taking his time to shoot, shooting not picking his shots(shooting when a guy is clearly in position to block) and missing the net

Top 6 forwards were MIA.

PP was absolutely disgusting. How long is this PP going to be deemed acceptable? It is atrocious and frankly at this point whomever is running the PP should be fired(Cant recall if it is Therrien or Yeo). PP is literally the worst combination of players I have ever seen

Elliott was not at his best. Some of those goals were stoppable.

Voracek missing that wide open net basically summed up the game. As AV said anything that could go wrong did but the team did not do itself any favours

I agree with this. Some change has to be made. AV made mention again post game about how bad the PP is. It is just difficult to make major changes , again, this time of year but I don’t think they have a choice. Perhaps Yeo , or AV himself should give it a shot. G is back on the left side, no difference. Bring back Joe Mullen.
